Experience the USPTO Patented DiamaGroove nail maintenance tool for professional groomers and pet owners alike, the original USA-made diamond nail grinding solution for safe, smooth pet nail maintenance at home or in the salon. These premium tools replace outdated sanding drums/sleeves, stones, and inferior abrasives delivering cooler, faster, and more controlled grinding with minimal vibration for both pets, pet owners and handlers. The Diamagroove is specifically manufactured to virtually eliminate hair entanglement. Designed to thread directly onto most popular rotary nail grinders, they attach securely and run smoothly to help reduce chatter, noise, and stress for sensitive animals.
Crafted in Michigan with premium-quality diamonds and 4140 stainless, DiamaGroove tools are built for durability and long-term performance, designed to last years under heavy daily use. The hollow core and cooling ports promote airflow 'through the tool itself', helping to keep the Diamagroove AND nails and from overheating during grinding sessions. Rounded edges add an extra layer of safety, allowing groomers and pet owners to shape and shorten nails confidently, even on squirmy puppies or anxious dogs.
DiamaGroove nail tools are available in multiple grits—coarse, standard, medium, and fine—to handle everything from quick length removal to ultra-smooth finishing. Coarser grits tackle thick or overgrown nails efficiently, while finer grits create a polished, snag-free finish that helps protect upholstery, bedding, and skin from scratches. This versatility makes them ideal for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, birds, and reptiles that may be sensitive to vibration or heat.
Choose from three specialized designs: Pinnacle, Boxer, and Detailer. The Pinnacle’s hourglass profile keeps the nail in a stable groove, automatically rounding edges and improving control on pets that pull back or move. The Boxer features a tapered tip and extended diamond coverage to reach tight areas, dew claws, and curved nails. The Detailer offers a smaller, precise shape perfect for finishing work, elderly pets, and situations where owners expect extremely smooth nails without the time and strain of hand-filing.
DiamaGroove nail tools fit most Dremel-style rotary tools and compatible brands, making them easy to integrate into existing setups. With proper cleaning and maintenance, including the use of dedicated bit cleaners, these tools maintain the cutting efficiency and stay cooler during extended use. Trusted by tens-of-thousands of groomers worldwide, DiamaGroove is a professional-grade upgrade that can speed up services, improve finish quality, and enhance comfort for both pets and grooming professionals.
Available in 3 models:
Pinnacle: This model has the deepest ‘Groove’ . Automatically ‘rounds off’ the nails, also centers the nail in the groove minimizing ‘slip off’ for the pets who are a little wild that pull back while trying to grind the nails. A large radius dome for SAFETY. Probably, the fastest grinding shape due to it‘s capacity to do so many ‘rounding’ features at one time.
Boxer: This model has the shallower groove narrowing out at the tip allowing the operator who prefers to get between those close together nails and be more meticulous. Great for the nail grinds that require the entire topside of the nail to be completed. Also, great for the impacted nails that grow very close to the pads. A dewclaw grinder’s dream.
Detailer: This gem is fabulous for replacing the ‘hand filing’ that groomers have to do on the pets who are owned by the elderly. Hand-filing takes time...time is money. The Detailer is fast, high quallity finish, and a money maker! This is also great as a primary grind for small dogs, cats, birds and reptiles.
Available in 4 different ‘Grits’ or ‘Diamond Micron’ sizes
#80 provides the ULTIMATE smooth finish on the nail, almost no vibration while grinding. The slowest grinding grit of the 4 grits .
#60 provides a fantastic finish on the nail, very little vibration, grinds slightly faster than the #80
#40 known as the ‘Standard’ takedown grit. This model will deliver the expedient removal of the nail without excessive vibration. A very nice finish. Most popular model.
#20 provides VERY expedient takedown. Also has the most amount of vibration of all of the Diamagrooves. It’s AGGRESSIVE!

Incredible!
I am a former bather/fluffer (sometimes groomer) of 20 years. The shops I worked in didn't use Dremels. It was old fashioned nail clippers.
My dog, Louie, was kinda okay (after a lot of work) with me clipping his nails until he had a bad experience at the vet office last year. All of the progress I made with him went straight out the window, only now, he was trying to hurt me if a clipper came near him.
I decided to give grinding a try. It's been going well, but I have to do things in stages. So, not all of his feet, maybe not even all of the toes on a foot at once. But I was treading water with the Dremel sanding barrels. I tried a DiamaGroove knock-off I got on Amazon. That was $40 wasted. I don't have much money, but I bit the bullet and bought the DiamaGroove.
This thing is awesome. It works fast on level 2 of the cordless 7760-PET Dremel. I was able to get 2 feet done and at least an 1/8-1/4th of an inch in no time. Just a couple to a few swipes. I stopped there so that he didn't get more stressed and I didn't want to push it. When we're done, he gets Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Pretzel doggie ice cream.
This grinding bit saved me and my dog from much unneeded stress and frustration. Louie is so much happier when we're finished with his nail sessions.
Thanks guys!
I will probably be ordering one of the finer grits at some point for maintenance. But right now, we're tackling talons.
I have been using a Dremel with the sandpaper bits for a long time. My 8 y/o terrier hates having her nails done. I'm not saying this DiamaGroove cured her of her fear, but this is a superior solution. This tip does not get hot, it sands smoothly, efficiently and is not aggressive like the sandpaper. I waited a long time to get one due to the price, but some things are worth paying for. It's worth every penny. Coincidentally, I used the Diamastripper on this same dog when she was being shown for conformation. Another indispensable tool. Great company. Thank you!
I’m thrilled w my new diamond bit.
Great bit and customer service was outstanding!
Awesome as usual.
Love it. I am using it on my 3 dogs. All of
Them are tolerating nail trimming much better.
Best product for dreaming dog nails.
The first Dog nail grooming tool that worked without vibration.
fantastic
This is an excellent product. The original!
It was replacement for one I bought 10 years ago from Whitman's.
Does the job as advertised. No stress for my 12 week old puppy.
I purchased my diamagroove a number of years ago and it still works like new. I purchased this one for a friend that I had been helping with doing nails on his dogs. He is excited to begin his own journey with this diamagroove tool!
Awesome product!
Lasts for years!
Worth every penny spent.
It was a little slower to grind than I thought it would be but it did work fine.
I love this!
By far the best bit I’ve ever used. absolutely recommend
It's the best, no more changing bands!
Wish I had done this first instead of cheap knockoffs. This is the best!
This tool came highly recommended from another dog owner and it has lived up to the hype. It leaves my dog's nails smooth and takes off excess nail quickly. The well-machined edge means no worry about cuts. I even bumped my own nail; not recommended, but no big problem.
Game changer for taking length and finishing nails!!!
Very helpful and prompt service.
Excellent tool - no issue from my dog when grinding her nails - prompt dispatch on order placement - being an International customer there was obviously a delay in receiving the product but was easily tracked
Great bit. Unfortunately for overseas purchases the postage is nearly as expensive as the bit itself.
This is the second one we've purchased for our small grooming shop. The first was starting to dull up a little after 6+ years. These aren't cheap but they last and are so much better than stones or sandpaper!
Great product. Our second one. We added one the new styles as the original has lasted l don't know how many years. It's just as good as the day we got it. They really last and l think they run much cooler than the paper drums and way less tool changing. Expensive but worth it. Buy good stuff one time or buy cheap stuff over and over.
Love it for dog nails! I’m a pet stylist so this is perfect :)
Love it
Amazing!
