Now entering its third year at the Owensboro Convention Center, RW GroomX has rapidly become one of the industry’s premier events. As a GroomTeamUSA-sanctioned competition, it offers groomers at every level a world-class stage to build skills, confidence, and recognition.
But RW GroomX is more than a competition—it’s a growing hub for education and industry advancement. Attendees gain access to diverse classes, top educators, leading manufacturers, and a supportive community of groomers, students, and dog professionals.

Where RW GroomX Began
RW GroomX originated in Novi, Michigan, as the Whitman’s Grooming Expo and later moved to the Chicago area. Without vendors or education in its early years, the vision for a more comprehensive, centrally located grooming event soon emerged.
That vision led to Owensboro, Kentucky, and the launch of RWGroomX—now one of just 16 GroomTeamUSA-sanctioned shows in the United States. Since relocating, the event has more than doubled in size and continues to gain momentum as it enters its third year.
